Maryland Medicaid covers a wide range of health services, including doctor visits, hospital and emergency care, prescriptions, mental health and substance use treatment, and pregnancy care. Adults and children receive full dental coverage.

For in person assistance, contact the St. Mary’s County Health Department via phone at 301-475-4330 or email to smchd.mchps@maryland.gov. In-person assistance is available at the following locations and times
- Main Office in Leonardtown: Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Health Hub in Lexington Park: Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Both sites are closed for lunch from 12:30 – 1:00 p.m.
- Walk-ins are accepted until 4:00 p.m
