LEONARDTOWN, MD (August 25, 2026) – The Healthy St. Mary’s Partnership (HSMP) will host its 2026 Annual Meeting on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the USMSM SMART Building in California, Maryland.
The free annual event brings together community members, local organizations, health professionals, and other partners to learn from local and regional experts, connect with one another, and hear updates on efforts to improve health and well-being in St. Mary’s County.
All community members are welcome to attend. Participants are encouraged to register in advance by completing the Annual Meeting Registration Form.
HSMP will also host a personal care items drive during the Annual Meeting to support St. Mary’s County Public Schools families. New, unopened items such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, menstrual products, and other personal hygiene supplies may be donated. Individuals do not need to attend the full meeting to contribute and may drop off donations during the event.
Each year, the HSMP Annual Meeting includes learning sessions focused on the four health priorities identified through the current county health improvement process:
This year’s sessions will highlight current research, emerging approaches, and evidence-based practices connected to the meeting theme, Advancing Community Health Together.
“Improving health in St. Mary’s County takes all of us working together,” said Dr. Meena Brewster, St. Mary’s County Health Officer and HSMP Co-Chair. “The Annual Meeting gives people from across our county an opportunity to connect, learn from one another, and turn shared priorities into action. I hope community members and organizations will join us and find a way to be part of this work.”
