LEONARDTOWN, MD (May 1, 2026) – The St. Mary’s County Health Department encourages eligible local organizations to submit applications for grant funding to the Maryland Department of Health (MDH) Request for Applications (RFA) related to the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP).
MDH has issued the RHTP RFA for organizations serving rural communities, with a focus on Sustainable Access through Service Expansion and Health Information Technology, Behavioral Health Services Expansion, and Innovative Care.
