Health Department Delayed Opening and School-Based Health Center Closures for January 27, 2026
LEONARDTOWN, MD (January 26, 2026) – Due to inclement weather and road conditions, the St. Mary’s County Health Department (SMCHD) main office in Leonardtown and Health Hub location in Lexington Park will open to the public at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. The school-based health centers at Margaret Brent and Spring Ridge Middle Schools will be closed tomorrow. Normal operations are expected to resume on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at all locations. Community members scheduled for appointments will be contacted directly to reschedule.
