Health Department Operations for Thanksgiving Holiday
LEONARDTOWN, MD (November 20, 2025)—The St. Mary’s County Health Department (SMCHD) will be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2025 for the Thanksgiving holiday. The agency will also be closed on Friday, November 28, 2025 in recognition of American Indian Heritage Day. This includes the main office in Leonardtown and all satellite offices. Normal operations will resume on Monday, December 1, 2025.
